The First Pour
There is a quiet kind of magic that happens in the beginning. Warm oils swirl in a glass beaker, catching the light in shades of gold, and the first pour slips into cobalt blue with a steady, trusting hand. It is simple and gentle, but it feels like a turning point. A moment where a dream stops living on paper and begins taking shape in the real world.
Wanderlight is still small and tender. It is a brand growing by hand and by heart. I just finished my very first batch of oils, poured my first round of candles, and stepped into my very first vendor show with a table full of pieces I made myself. I made my first sale. I stood in a room where people picked things up, held them, smelled them, and asked questions. It felt like the beginning of a story I have waited a long time to tell.
For now, I am selling in person while I find my rhythm. The oils are blending and resting. The candles are cooling in frosted vessels. Every label is placed by hand, one at a time, while I slowly photograph each product and prepare the online shop for shipping. It is a process that asks me to move slowly, to breathe, to trust that small steps create steady glow.
This is the season of firsts. The first pour. The first market. The first tiny moments of connection with people who feel drawn to softness, stillness, and something handmade. It feels both fragile and full of possibility, like watching a flame settle for the very first time.
Thank you for standing with me in these early chapters, where the work is intimate and the light is just beginning to stretch.
✨ Glow softly. Wander wildly.
